Includes assembly and set-up on most items, along with removal of any packaging materials. Our professional delivery personnel will, carefully inspect your purchase, prepare it, deliver it to your home, and set it in place with our white glove service. There is only a one stop charge regardless of the number of items delivered to a single address. You will be called the day prior to delivery and notified of the estimated time (90 min. window) your delivery will be made.
How Do I Prepare for My Delivery?
- Have an adult 18 years old or older be present to accept all deliveries.
- Measure your space to ensure that your purchase will fit in your doorway and rooms.
- Have the room clear and instruct our team where you want your new furniture placed.
- All special orders estimated time for completion are based on manufacturer lead times and transportation to our store. These times may change and Currie's cannot be held liable for manufacturer and transportation delays.
One Year In Home Service:
Currie’s includes one year free in home service to customers who have their furniture delivered within our home service area.*Exclusions include our extended delivery zone, items picked up, closeout, clearance, inventory liquidation, garage sale items and as-is merchandise.
Low Price Guarantee:
We guarantee to have the lowest price in Northwest Michigan on any product we sell. If you find the exact item displayed or advertised, within 30 days, for less, at any brick and mortar furniture store in our area, upon verification, we will refund 110% of the difference.
Special orders are customized especially for you. We require a 25% deposit to order your furniture. Deposits on special orders are Non-refundable. Manufacturer delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. We will call you as soon as your furniture arrives in our warehouse and arrange for delivery.

While we make every effort to provide you the most accurate, up to date information, occasionally, one or more items on this website, Facebook, YouTube or other websites may be mis-priced. We reserve the right to refuse to honor any incorrect prices.
Currie’s Mattress Policy:
We do not accept returns or exchanges on mattresses.
Box Springs:Box springs and foundations are usually offered in a high or low profile height. If you change your mind after the initial delivery, there will be a delivery charge and a 1/3 restocking fee for exchanging the size. Currie's does offer a split queen box spring as well.
Impressions: Today’s advanced technology allows your new mattress to conform to your body for added comfort. This is good and normal! Body impressions are normal in today’s thicker, more comfortable mattress sets. Today’s sleep sets, by design, are more comfortable and thicker than your current set.
Protect Your Warranty: Most manufacturers offer a warranty on premium mattress sets. Keep the warranty valid by:
- Having the proper support bed frame under your sleep set.
- Retaining possession of the law tags.
- Keeping the mattress clean.
We Remove and Recycle Your Old Mattress: Currie's is earth friendly in disposal of your old mattress set where all the materials and recycled and disposed of properly. Removal charge may apply for old bedding.
In order to maintain the integrity of your mattress warranty and to prevent stains, Currie's recommends our mattress protectors. Our protector will warranty your mattress against stains for 10 years.
Currie's Return Policy:
In Store Purchase Only (excludes online sales)
We want our customers to be excited about their purchase and continue to shop with us for many years to come. If, within 7 days of receiving your furniture, you are not completely satisfied, please notify us and we will do everything possible to quickly resolve your concern. Should it be necessary, during this period we will accept stock (that we have on display in our showroom) merchandise in the original, “like new” condition in original packaging for a one time re-selection. A restocking charge of 15% and return delivery fee will be charged for the pick up of returned merchandise. We strongly encourage that you measure the area for your purchase prior to delivery, in the event that an item is unable to fit in your home due to size there will be a 15% restocking charge and return delivery fee will be charged for the return of the items to the store. Return or re-selection does not apply to special order merchandise, ready to assemble, mattresses/bedding, adjustable bed bases, pillows, protection plans, delivery fees, closeout and clearance items. Closeout and clearance items are non returnable and are accepted as is. Any items that are soiled, damaged, used for commercial purposes and misused are all non returnable.
Returns Policy Online Orders:
Returns are not accepted unless product is damaged upon delivery. Determination of whether to repair or replace furniture is at the sole discretion of Currie's Furniture. If a repair isn't possible then a replacement piece will be ordered and the damaged pieces become the property Currie's Furniture. Any exception to the returns policy will be solely at Currie's Furniture's discretion. If Currie's Furniture deems it appropriate to cancel or return an order or item, it will be subject to a cancellation / restocking fee as well as additional delivery charges. A reselection of furniture with the remaining credit is required.
Once your order is placed with Currie's Furniture, we will submit it to the manufacturer on your behalf. At this point, Currie's Furniture is financially obligated to purchase the furniture from the manufacturer. For this reason, we don't accept order cancellations. Any exception to the cancellation policy will be solely at Currie's Furniture's discretion. If Currie's Furniture deems it appropriate to cancel or return an order or item, it will be subject to a cancellation / restocking fee as well as additional delivery charges. A reselection of furniture with the remaining credit is required.
Terms and Conditions
Acceptance and Inspection
It is the customer's responsibility to thoroughly inspect all furniture and accessories at the time of delivery and make appropriate notations before signing. All damage to furniture, damage to packaging, missing items, or other problems must be noted in writing on the delivery paperwork. If customer signs for an item and then later discovers damage, Currie's Furniture is not responsible to send a replacement piece or have it repaired. A signature indicates acceptance; without inspecting the boxes, customer accepts the shipment "as is" and will be fully responsible for any replacements (including freight) or repair costs if transit related. If there is visible damage to the packaging, customer should immediately open the packaging and inspect the product for damage and contact Currie's Furniture at 231-943-8570 for further instructions. If damage is discovered and the delivery is made outside regular business hours, or Currie's Furniture cannot be reached by telephone, customer should refuse only the item in question and notate the damage to the item(s) and the box(es) in detail on the delivery receipt. If items are damaged in shipping, the customer must notify Currie's Furniture within 48 hours. Issues arising after 48 hours are considered warranty issues. Digital photos that clearly show the damage must be sent via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Damage, Repair & Replacement
If furniture arrives damaged, it will be the responsibility of Currie's Furniture and/or the Delivering Agent and/or the manufacturer to repair or replace the damaged piece(s). Currie's Furniture reserves the right to repair any damages. Determination of whether to repair or replace furniture is at the sole discretion of Currie's Furniture. If a repair isn't possible then a replacement piece will be ordered and the damaged pieces become the property of Currie's Furniture.
The manufacturer's warranty begins when the merchandise is delivered by Currie's Furniture or the delivery company. Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are generally limited to defects in materials and craftsmanship. Currie's Furniture provides no warranties expressed or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. All such warranties are expressly and specifically disclaimed. Currie's Furniture shall not be responsible for any indirect, special or consequential damages. Customers that reside in "remote" or other areas not accessible by an authorized restoration center will be responsible for any trip and travel charges incurred in the warranty claim process.
Product Description & Photo Disclaimer
Products on the Currie's Furniture website are described and presented as accurately as possible. However, due to the nature of the furniture, please note that Currie's Furniture does not guarantee that the finish of the ordered wood, leather, fabric, or stone will be exactly as pictured. Currie's Furniture cannot guarantee that any particular finish on any product will exactly match the same finish which may have been seen locally. Finishes may vary due to differences in dye lots, climate, and the uniqueness of the artisans hand applied application. Leather Products: Natural marking such as scars, brands, wrinkles, grain variations, etc., will be considered normal characteristics and not construed as defects. Since no two cows are identical, no two cow hides will be exactly the same. Natural markings and color variations can and will occur. As all dye lots are different, an exact color match cannot be guaranteed to match any sample you may have seen. Sample swatches are to be used as a starting reference point only. Because of the natural characteristics of leather as well as variation in the tanning process, the final leather goods may vary in color, texture, natural markings and sheen (level of gloss). This variation does not constitute a reason for return. Wooden Products: Due to the natural characteristics of wood, there may be variations in color, grain, sheen, and sizes. Sizes: Any and all sizes shown on the Currie's Furniture website are those listed by the manufacturer. Actual sizes may vary within industry standards and as such, variations should be expected. Upholstery dimensions are never "exact" since most cushions and padding materials are stuffed by hand. Variations of over 2 inches are not uncommon.
Pricing Errors & Omissions
Currie's Furniture makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information on our web site. Currie's Furniture reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, including after an order has been submitted, after it has been confirmed via email or phone, or after customer’s credit card has been charged. If pricing errors are discovered after customer’s credit card has been charged and order is canceled as a result of the error, credit card will be refunded the full order amount. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
Currie’s Furniture collects sales tax in the state of Michigan. It is the customer's responsibility to understand and remit sales tax in accordance with the laws of their home state.
You hereby represent and warrant to us that this Agreement has been duly and validly executed and delivered by you and constitutes your legal, valid and binding obligation, enforceable against you in accordance with its terms; and that the execution, delivery and performance by you of this Agreement are within your legal capacity and power, have been duly authorized by all requisite action on your part, require the approval or consent of no other persons, and neither violate nor constitute a default under the (i) provision of any law, rule, regulation, order, judgment or decree to which you are subject or which is binding upon you, or (ii) the terms of any other agreement, document or instrument applicable to you or binding upon you.
Here are a few things you should know when buying furniture from Currie’s Furniture:
Special orders may take approximately 4-10 weeks for delivery. Special orders are non-refundable. Currie’s can not be held responsible for manufacturing or delivery delays.
Our delivery days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Your salesperson or our office personnel will inform you as to which days we deliver to your area. Each delivery will require a delivery charge. You will be called within 24 hours of receiving the merchandise in our warehouse. All orders must be paid in full prior to scheduling your delivery. Our office will give you a courtesy call the night before your delivery with a 2 hour time window. If you find it necessary to cancel a scheduled delivery, we will need a 48 hour notice to change your delivery day to the next day we are in your area or you will be subject to an additional delivery fee. When our delivery team arrives at your home, please be sure the area is clear and ready to receive new furniture. For insurance purposes, our delivery team cannot move furniture already in your home or attach stereo components, TV’s, computers, or anything electronic/electrical.
Clearance and close-out merchandise is sold “as is”. No service, no warranty and no returns on any of these items.
All nicks, scratches, tears in upholstery, leather, or wood, etc. must be reported in 5 days to be covered under the warranty. Currie’s reserves the right to make repairs to furniture either in the customer’s home or at the warehouse.
All accessories are sold as is. No refunds or credits will be given after 3 days.
Close Out Items:
All "Close Out" sale items are sold AS IS. Should a product require service it would be done on a charge basis. (parts warranty remains, shipping costs may apply).
"Close Out" items may be financed for 6 months – minimum amount of $150 financed with at least the tax amount as a down payment. Delivery charges on "Close Out" items includes "Delivery Only" and does not include Currie's 1 year in home service.
All Close Out items will be charged a delivery charge as well any removal of old mattress and box springs will be charged for removal. See store for details.
Customer Pickup Policy:
Currie's offers delivery to many areas throughout Northwest Michigan. If however you live outside our delivery area or would like to pick up your purchase, we will make arrangements for you to pick up your furniture. Below is our pick up policy:
- Have your invoice ready.
- Please call the store at 231-943-8570 (1) day in advance so we can make sure that your items are ready for pick up at the store.
- Pick up hours are: Monday through Saturday 10:30am-5:00pm.
- No pick ups on Sunday or after 5:00pm Monday through Saturday.
- Some items require assembly and will be unopened in their original factory packaging.
- Once items are picked up and accepted without damage any damage discovered after the items leave our store are your responsibility and may not be returned because of damage.
- Customer is responsible for securely loading all items to their vehicle.
- All items that are picked up are covered by their original factory warranty. All picked up items must be brought to our store for service. Please call 231-943-8570 to arrange an appointment for you to have your furniture repaired. If you reside within our service area and choose to have us come out to your home for service you will be charged a pickup and or delivery charge for all items repaired.
We are pleased to assist you in loading your merchandise. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the load is secure. We are not responsible for damage once the merchandise has left the premises.
